Q3: What have you learned from your audience feedback?
I used surveymonkey to create this survey for my video:
The sample size isn’t sufficient, for it to be sufficient I would need to ask 100 people more and this I couldn’t do.
The feedback I received was all quite positive which I was pleased about. A few people commented they weren't too sure they liked the portrait clips. I used these as my video is not a story/film as such but more like a Sports /advertisment video that could possibly be used for the Olympic/Paralympic games. I notice on many sports trailers there are often still portrait shots at intervals and I have tried to capture this by including my portrait shots. I also think some of them were really good so I wanted to include them.
Here is the video I recorded for audience feedback. I found it essential to get this feedback even though I didn't need to make any changes at this point but it means that I had produced a media product that appealed to my target audience, as my final media product was more mass market than niche, according to my secondary research from YouGoc/Profiles. Almost half of this class were in the age range of my target audience with a few either side of the 18-24. This then allowed me to make final alterations to my media product based up this audience feedback.
