To film the footage I mainly used my Nikon DS3200. I also used my Ricoh WG-30 for some of the diving and horse clips. Because the Ricoh is waterproof it was used for the underwater filming.
When using my Nikon I often used a tripod as I had to shoot for a long time and the tripod helped to steady the filming.

I used my iPhone 4s and 6s for the voice recording. All the editing was done on my MacBook Pro using software applications iMovie and Photoshop which enabled me to piece together the movie, make the poster and digipak.
I used my IPhone when I was out on location when it wasn't practical to have my Macbook Pro with me, so I could make notes and ideas as I went. It also meant that I could blog on the move.
This was invaluable, I used it as a storage device, and editing tool. It made the rending of the music video really quick and any changes that needed to made we also easy to do.
I used iMovie to edit the video, it is simple compared to Premiere Pro but it allowed me to effectively edit my videos so they had a professional look to them.
I used CC to edit my photos for the ancillary tasks this included adding text to photos which I have never done before. Using CC allowed me greater creative freedom than using a program like Pixlr. I could add layer upon layer when creating my digipak which I would have found impossible in other programs.
To design my feedback surveys I used a variety of methods. Survey Monkey, created a blog and used an email client, gmail. I also used Facebook for feedback.
To write documents I have used the application 'pages' on my Mac which I then copied to my blog. I used you tube to upload draft videos to enable people easier access to view. Applications such as 'prezi' and 'wordle' were useful for my presentation and text. I got ideas for my mind map for my video from Bubble.us.

I found blogger useful because it allowed people to see my work as it progressed, I could use my IPhone on the go to add more content and my teacher could also check my progress and give advice where needed.
I emailed a number of images backwards and forwards during the course of the unit.
I used Facebook to promote my video and any surveys I created so I could get audience feedback and act upon it.
I used pages on my Macbook Pro if I didn't have any interest connection so I could still jot down ideas.
Youtube was great for showing my videos, I could also embed the content into my blog very easily rather than upload it to Blogger directly.
Was very useful for creating simple easy to read presentations.
I used this to generate my first thoughts on the process. It helped focus my mind.
To capture the moment my Diving Coach dropped me from the 5M board I set up my Nikon camera and tripod by the side of the pool. Setting first the zoom lens I then programmed the camera to automatically record.
The underwater filming which I really wanted to do was always going to be a bit tricky. because of my disability and poor balance I am unable to stay under the water and film at the same time. One of the GB divers helped me out with this by holding onto me whilst I was in the water - which is why it is only a few seconds - so I could film a little steadier. I first filmed Aidan diving from the board above water and then on his second dive I positioned myself to get the underwater shot. It took a few attempts but we managed eventually. There were lifeguards around the pool as other diving classes were running at the same time.
A lot of the equipment made filming, taking notes and editing work really easy especially if I was away from my Mac. It meant I could work anywhere I needed to.
